Parts of Betsie Valley Trail in Elberta to Be Closed

Get your ride/walk/run on and enjoy the weekend on the BVT. Because on Monday and Tuesday, according to Trail Care Coordinator Charlie Gregory, via Justin Towle (DPW), you’ll see the section of the trail from River Road to Penfold Park barricaded and closed for repaving. These are expected to be low-use days anyway, and the Trail Committee is taking advantage of the fact that Elmer’s will also be disrupting Village traffic a bit owing to our continued lead-line replacement also starting then. Spread the word among the trail trekkers you know!
The trail work/closure is expected to take just those couple of days, Justin said.
