After you attend the public hearing December 21 at 6 pm at the Community Building about the proposed fence down by Betsie Bay, and while you’re twiddling your thumbs waiting for various late council meeting reports, consider these other special events.

December 25 at the Mills Community House, 6 to 10 pm
The Bissell family is throwing a party for the whole darn towns—and hoping to start a new tradition. All are welcome to this alcohol-free event. I for one am sure the dancing will be excellent!
ADVOCATE FOR BENZIE LEARNERS OF ALL AGES WITH THE BENZIE ADVOCATES
January 11 at the Elberta United Methodist Church, 7 p.m.
